James S. Taylor, 65, of Byhalia, died Oct. 29, 2018. He was a drywall installer.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Oct. 31, from 5-8 p.m.
Services will be held on Nov. 1 at 11 a.m. at First Pentecostal Church, where he was a member. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery in Olive Branch. Holly Springs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his wife, Peggy Taylor; a son, Anthony Neil Taylor (Kimberly) of Byhalia; a daughter, Jamie Ann Raines (Vern) of Byhalia; two brothers, Larry Taylor of Wolf City, Texas, Mark Whitaker of Independence; five sisters, Lottie Whitaker of Horn Lake, Vanessa Kelley of Millington, Tenn., Maria Hood, Claudette Whitaker, Marie Manning, all of Independence; and four grandchildren.
