James Prentis Cooke

James Prentis Cooke Jr., 82, of Hickory Flat, died August 1, 2019, at his home. He served in the United States Army and retired from River Oil Company after 29 years.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on August 5 at New Albany Funeral and Cremation Care. Bro. Tommy Wilder officiated. Burial was in McKay Cemetery in Hickory Flat.
He leaves three sons, Ronnie Cooke and Lynn Cooke, both of Ripley, and Greg Cooke of Southaven; three sisters, Judy Taylor (Carroll) and Jessi Stephens, both of Hickory Flat, Shelby Conely of Mulvane, Kansas; two brothers, Ray Cooke of Hickory Flat and Billy Cooke (Faye) of Hudsonville; and six grandchildren.
