James Lee Lester

James Lee “Tot” Lester, 64, of Holly Springs, died Aug. 18, 2017, at his home. A self-employed musician, he played guitar for a number of area churchs, gospel groups and blues bands.

Visitation will be 2-8:30 p.m., with family from 7:30-8:30 p.m. on Aug. 25 at the funeral home and at the church on Aug. 26 from 9-9:55 a.m.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 26 at Mt. Ollie MB Church in Potts Camp, where he was a member, with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Anthony Marion will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Doris Stokes Lester of Milwaukee, Wisc.; three daughters, Anshanela Stokes Lester, Aneshia Lester, Annevia Lester, all of Milwaukee; a brother, Sylvester Lester Jr. of Corinth; two sisters, Frankie Elaine Reed, Annie Clayton, both of Potts Camp; three stepchildren and 13 grandchildren.
