James Howard “Pimp” Marion

James Howard “Pimp” Marion, 66, of Holly Springs, died October 13, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. He was a member of Spring Hill MB Church in Waterford, and was a factory worker.

Graveside services were held at 4 p.m. on Oct. 17 at Spring Hill MB Church. Rev. Anthony Marion officiated. Burial was in Spring Hill MB Church Cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Claudette Rayford Marion; two daughters, Kami Miller of Southaven, Kimetria Parks of Cleveland; one son, Reggi Marion of Baton Rouge, La.; three sisters, Josephine Bogard, Beverly Bogard, both of Holly Springs, Janet Bogard-Crockett of Olive Branch; four brothers, Sid Bogard, Willie Earl Bogard, Charles Bogard, all of Holly Springs, Tracy Bogard of Temple, Texas; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Marion.
