James Henry Beard Sr., 91, of Holly Springs, died Oct. 30, 2020. He was a member of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Holly Springs.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 7 at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Artwell Craft Sr. officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. Serenity-Autry Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his wife, Johnnie Ree Beard; three sons, Jerry Beard, James Beard Jr., Kenneth Beard; two daughters, Cynthia Wilkins, Tandra Blakely; two brothers, William Beard, Major Beard; three sisters, Lorean Hope, Dorothy Stinson, Lucy Jones; 14 grandchildren and 21 greatgrandchildren.
