James Elliott McLain, 64, of Byhalia, died October 21, 2024, at his home. He was a construction supervisor.
A family memorial service is planned for a later date. Holly Springs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his wife, Darlene Bowman McLain; daughters, Jennifer Bennett (Jason) of Byhalia, Shelby McLain of Byhalia; brother, Lewis McLain Jr.; sisters, Linda McLain (Joe) of Burlison, Tenn., Terry Robertson of Okla., Sandra Reynolds (Joe) of Ormond Beach, Fla., Lisa Camp (Jerry) of Hatfield, Pa.; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis McLain and Ouida Martin McLain; sisters, Barbara McLain and Patty Anthony.
