James Edward Campbell

James Edward Campbell, 43, of Lamar, died February 10, 2023. He was a member of Kimbrough Chapel MB Church and was a plumber and managed several rental properties.

Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel on March 10 from 12-6 p.m. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on March 11 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries. Burial will be in Kimbrough Chapel MB Church Cemetery.

He leaves a daughter, Mercedes Moore of Holly Springs; three sons, Dae'Mond Ivey of Memphis, Tenn., Kelisazel Campbell, MarJavian Wilson, both of Holly Springs; his mother, Linda Campbell of Lamar; father, Charles Fitzpatrick of Memphis; six sisters, Qwanesha Mitchell, Makayla Houston, both of Ashland, Jasmin Wells of Byhalia, Charleah Fitzpatrick, Charla Fitzpatrick, both of Columbus, Lillie Muse of Holly Springs; four brothers, Dontral Campbell, Christopher Campbell, both of Holly Springs, Xavier Nolan of Memphis, Charles Fitzpatrick of Dallas, Texas; two grandfathers, Claude Campbell, Lawrence Gatewood, both of Tenn.; five grandchildren; and a special friend, Judah Martin.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Burnett Gatewood and Annie Bell Campbell.
