James Earl Isom

James Earl Isom, 62, of Holly Springs, died Jan. 12, 2019, at his home. He was a member of the church male chorus and a 1975 graduate of Sand Flat High School (H.W. Byers). He was a former laborer for Gary Seldon Construction Company.

Visitation will be from 1-6 p.m. at the funeral home on Jan. 18, and at the church on Jan. 19 from 9 to 9:55 a.m.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Jan. 19 at Isom Chapel CME Church, where he was a member. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Michael Adams will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves a daughter, LaTasha McNulty of Atlanta, Ga.; three sisters, Lorise Myatt of Memphis, Tenn., Bernice Snow, Myra Isom, both of Holly Springs; eight brothers, Winston Isom of Ashland, Marvell Isom, Edward Isom, both of Memphis, Eugene Isom of Holly Springs, Henry Isom, Joe Isom, both of Red Banks, Wilred Isom of Seattle, Wash., Cassie Bell Isom of Holly Springs; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Floyce Isom Sr. and four siblings, Floyce Isom Jr., Adell Isom, Elmer Isom and Florine Isom.
