James D. Pruitt, 83, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Victoria, died August 24, 2025, at his home. He was a commercial construction superintendent.
Services were held at Evangel Full Gospel Assembly on Sept. 2 at 3 p.m. Burial was in the church cemetery. Serenity Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his daughters, Sherold Pruitt of Byhalia, Shelia Butler (Christopher) of Atoka, Tenn.; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Catherine Pruitt.
