James "Boe" McClure

James "Boe" McClure, 87, of Holly Springs, died March 16, 2022, at Methodist Olive Branch Hospital. He was a member of Carey Chapel Baptist Church and city fireman for the City of Memphis Fire Department.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on March 21 at Carey Chapel Baptist Church. Bro. Barry Littlefield officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Judy Teel McClure; two daughters, Freda Sullivan (Rick) of Oakland, Tenn., Penny Browning (Tim) of Slayden; four grandchildren, Eric Sullivan (Amy), Nathan Sullivan (Jill), Jon Sullivan, Ethan Browning; seven great-grandchildren, Drew, Langston, Taylor, Matt, Tyler, Callie and John Michael Sullivan.

He was preceded in death by his former wife, Geneva Langston McClure; his parents, brother and five sisters.
