James “Pete” Elbert Roberson

James “Pete” Elbert Roberson, 76, of Byhalia, died August 3, 2022. He was a fireman for the Memphis, Tenn. Fire Department, and an Army veteran.
Services were held at 2 p.m. On August 8 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Byhalia.
He leaves his wife, Evelyn Roberson; son, Duwayne Roberson (Becky) of West Memphis, Ark.; daughter, Gloria Roberson of West Memphis; brothers, George Roberson (Betty Jean) of Olive Branch, Raymond Roberson (Barbara) of Southaven; sisters, Patricia Elardo of Olive Branch, Cindy Roberson of Memphis; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Bryan Helton; his brothers, Billy Roberson, Bobby Roberson; and sister, Delores Stahl.
