Jacqueline "Jackie" Denise Scott

Jacqueline "Jackie" Denise Scott, 57, of Byhalia, died March 26, 2026. She was a member of Community Temple Holiness Church where she served as an usher and secretary. She was assistant director at IPL Christian Academy in Byhalia.

Visitation will be held at Community Temple Holiness on April 3 from 4-7 p.m. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on April 4 at Mt. Pisgah CME Church. Burial will be in Community Temple Holiness Church Cemetery. Serenity Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her husband, Alvin Scott Sr.; son, Alvin Scott Jr. of Byhalia; daughters, Corrandra Scott, Aquila Scott, both of Olive Branch, Ayana Scott of Byhalia; stepmothers, Evelyn Moore of Cordova, Tenn., Deloris Moore of Waterford; brothers, Carl B. Moore (Gloria) of Red Banks, Tyrone Moore (Charlotte) of Holly Springs, Chrishun Moore of Collierville, Tenn., Jimmie Burks III of Iowa; sisters, Melissa Riddle (Hubert) of Holly Springs, Crystelle Jones (Christopher) of Cordova, Demetria Allen (Willie) of Indianapolis, Ind., Central Moore Burks of Collierville, Tenn., and Jessica Hale of Holly Springs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cain Moore and Jacqueline Gray Moore; and sister, Candyce Finney.
