Idalia Harris Holloway

Idalia Harris Holloway, 99, of Holly Springs, died April 26, 2017, at her home. The widow of Monroe Holloway, she was a member of Strawberry M.B. Church where she was a member of the senior choir. She was a retired cook from Holly Inn Restaurant.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 12:55 p.m. on May 4 with services at 1 p.m. at Strawberry M.B. Church with burial in the church cemetery. Dewitt Glover will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She leaves five daughters, Gussie Mae Hughes of Champaign, Ill., Cederia Elliott, Inell Allen, Elizabeth H. Jones, all of Holly Springs; Rose Mary Jacobs of Killeen, Texas; two sons, Henry Harris of Baltimore, Md., Jerry Lee Holloway of Holly Springs; two sisters, Hazel Houston of Byhalia and Elizabeth Jones of Chicago, Ill.; 75 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and a host of great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three children Lucendy Holloway, Monroe Holloway Jr., and Charlie Holloway.
