Ida Mae Martin Morrison

Ida Mae Martin Morrison, 77, of Byhalia (Cayce Community), died April 25, 2024, at her home. She was a member of Mt. Zion Taska MB Church where she served on the mother's board. She was retired from Cartwright Nursery in Collierville, Tenn.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on May 4 from 10 a.m. -3 p.m. and on May 5 at Mt. Zion Taska MB Church from 1-1:55 p.m. with services at 2 p.m. Pastor Anthony Bramlett will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She leaves her husband, Jospeh Morrison; daughter, Valeria Morrison of Cayce; sisters, Mary Gatewood of Cayce, Bonnie Martin of Memphis, Tenn., Elnora Coleman of Horn Lake, Clara Hardaway (Johnny) of Cayce, Lucy Odum of Victoria; brother, George Martin (Mary) of Cayce; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her children, Lawrence Anthony Martin, Terica Rayford; siblings, Lawrence Martin Jr., Clarence Martin, Marie Walls, Arthur Lee Martin, Florida Isom, Willie Odum and Odessa Johnson.
