Ida Lee Goode

Ida Lee Goode, 90, of Holly Springs, died April 25, 2024. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Hickory Flat.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on April 29 at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery in Ashland.

She leaves her sons, David Hopkins (Pam) of Potts Camp, Dennis Hopkins of Holly Springs, Jimmy Hopkins (Misty), George Hopkins, both of Laws Hill; daughters, Geneva Yeager (Jimmy) of Holly Springs, Linda Mercer (Sammy) of Myrtle, Judy Leopard (Larry) of Victoria; brother, Wesley Lumpkins (Edith) of Ashland; sisters, Pauline Leitschuh of Michigan City, Sarah Thomas of Ashland; 24 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Hopkins and Delmar Goode; sons, Bobby Hopkins, Clyde Hopkins; daughter, Mary Russell; brothers, Clyde Lumpkins, Claudie Lumpkins; sister, Fay Thomas; grandchildren, Blake Hopkins, Bud Hopkins and Sylvia Smith.
