Ida Earl Richmond King

Ida Earl Richmond King, 95, of Byhalia, died Feb. 3, 2017, at her home. The widow of Will Henry King Jr., she was a church usher. She was a homemaker

Services were  held at 11 a.m. on Feb. 7, at Union Valley MB Church in Byhalia, where she was a member. Burial was in the church cemetery. Rev. Gemmy Tyson officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves five daughters, Willie K. Norman of Byhalia, Ida K. Berry of Memphis, Tenn., Terry K. Moore, Rose M. Franklin, both of Byhalia, Barbara King Florence of Atlanta, Ga.; four sons, Leon King of Byhalia, Thurman King, Alvin J. King, both of Memphis, Charlie I. King of Chicago, Ill.; a stepson, Stanley Mosely King of Senatobia; a sister, Thelma Jones of Chicago, a brother, Archie Richmond of Byhalia; 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Oudia Joyce King Henderson, a son, Fabian King; and eight siblings, Gertrude Richmond Walton, Ralph Richmond, Percy Richmond, Latham Richmond, Lee Willie Richmond, Basil Richmond, Ellis Richmond and Robert Richmond.
