Herman Lee "Unk" Brown

Herman Lee "Unk" Brown, 73, of Holly Springs, died March 30, 2026. He was a member of Sand Hill MB Church in Lamar and later at Redeemed Fellowship Church in Holly Springs. He owned a lawn service business.

Visitation will be held at Senerity Funeral Home on April 10 from 4-6 p.m. with services on April 11 at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden.

He leaves his stepsons, Kelvin Waller of Oxford, Jermaine Waller of Holly Springs; brothers, Jessie Brown of Aurora, Ill., Olanda Brown (Limmie) of Holly Springs; sister, Mosella Phillips of Holly Springs; his fiance, Brenda Waller of Holly Springs; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Jessica Waller-Rooks; brothers, George Brown Jr., Roy Brown, Eddie B. Brown, Clyde Lewis Brown, L.B. Brown, Earnest Hudson; sisters, Lucy Mae Hampton, Nina Faye Bryson, Dorothy Bowen and Roberta Tucker.
