Herbert Lee Isable

Herbert Lee Isable, 64, of Holly Springs, died July 26, 2017, at Alliance HealthCare System. A former member of Asbury United Methodist Church, he attended Thus Saith The Lord Church in Holly Springs. He was a butcher at Piggly Wiggly in Byhalia before he became disabled.

Services were held at 12 noon on July 30 at the Eddie L. Smith Multi-Purpose Building. Burial was in Cottrell Memorial Garden. Rev. Willie F. Jeffries officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Alberta Payne Isable; two children, Twana Whitlock of Cordova, Tenn., Amanda Isable of Olive Branch; two sisters, Susie Ann Campbell, Carrie Gary, both of Holly Springs; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry L. Isable Jr., Linwood Isable; and a sister, Rose Mary Isom.
