Herbert “Bubba” Walton

Herbert “Bubba” Walton, 67, of Holly Springs, died Nov. 23, 2016 at Baptist Hospital in Oxford. He was a self-employed handyman.

Services were held at 1 p.m. on Dec. 1 at Hopewell No. 1 MB Church with burial in Beverly Chapel CME Church Cemetery. Rev. Leroy James officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves three daughters, Toni LeSure of Olive Branch, Adrienne Jackson, Amber Walton, both of Memphis, Tenn.; two sons, Tairrance Pegues of Corinth, Henry Earl Smith of Atlanta, Ga.; his fiancée, Sandra Woods of Holly Springs; a sister, Glennie Arciado of Las Vegas, Nev., a brother, Dewit “Prentis” Walton of Holly Springs; and nine grandchildren.
