Henry Sampson Boyd Jr.

Henry Sampson Boyd Jr., 79, of Holly Springs, died Sept. 18, 2017.  He was a paralegal at North Mississippi Rural Legal Services for more than 40 years. He also taught history for many years in the Marshall County School System.

Visitation will be Sept. 23 from 2-2:55 p.m. at the church.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sept. 23 at Anderson Chapel CME Church, where he was a member. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves a daughter, Viveca Elaine Gibson (Arthur); two sons, Henry S. Boyd III, Marcus Cornelius Ray Boyd (Tiffany); two sisters, Doris McKinney (Joe), Verna Caldwell (Charles);  a brother, Don Boyd; three grandchildren and a special friend, Ada Lindsey and family.
