Henry Louis Strickland

Henry Louis Strickland, 84, of Ashland, died June 9, 2018, at his home. A retired, self-employed contractor, he was a church deacon for over 35 years and chairperson of Men and Women’s Day.
Visitation will be held June 15 at the funeral home from 2-6 p.m., and on June 15 from 10-10:55 a.m. at the church.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on June 16 at Shiloh MB Church in Ashland, where he was a member. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Rickey Ball will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his wife, Arzeila Williamson Strickland and a sister, Mary Lizzie Strickland of Ashland.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Saddie Williams and a brother, Raymond Strickland.
