Henry Lee Gillespie Jr., 70, of Holly Springs, formerly of Starkville, died December 25, 2022, at his home. He was a member of New Harvest Ministries in Holly Springs and former pastor of Dimension of Faith Ministry. He was a retired educator with Clarksdale School District.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 31 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries. Bishop Jemmie Goss officiated. Burial was in Cottrell Memorial Garden. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Cheryl Y. Cunningham Gillespie; children, Angel Oliver of Holly Springs, Darren Quenton Gillespie of Dallas, Texas, Ryan Gillespie of Ashland, Ricco Vance of Jackson, Kendrick Oliver of Holly Springs; sisters, Vera Self of Starkville, Lisa Mabry of Atlanta, Ga.; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
