Henderson Miller

Henderson Miller,  82, of Waterford, died Sept. 5, 2017. The widower of Nannie Mae Jones Miller, he was employed at Sunbeam for over 30 years, until its closing. He retired from Mulay Plastics.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Sept. 9 at New Hope MB Church in Laws Hill, where he was a member. Burial was in the church cemetery. Rev. Michael Bonner officiated. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves two sons, Tony Miller (Leatha), Anthony Miller, both of Waterford; five children he reared as his own, Kathereen Brown, Lorine Mitchell, Netti Malone, Carolyn Woodard (John), Eloise Finley (Oliver); two sisters, Missouri Sanders of Indianapolis, Ind., Beverly Hunt of Memphis, Tenn.; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Esau Shaw; and siblings Lovie B. Avery, Herual “Billy” Miller, Wilma Miller Bonner, Luther Miller, Lillie Pryor, and Czrenia Boothe.
