Heather Patrice Bryson-Guy

Heather Patrice Bryson-Guy, 36, of Slayden, died Jan. 1, 2019, at her home in Lamar. A 2001 graduate of H.W. Byers High School, she was over the youth department and leader of the Young Men's Praise Team at her church. She was a former custodian at Marshall County Schools.

Services were held at 2 p.m. on Jan. 6 at Kimbrough Chapel MB Church, where she was a member. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pastor Mark Bryson officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her husband, Antonio Darrell Guy; two sons, LaDarrius Bryson, Anterrio Guy, both of Slayden; a daughter, Jakaria Bryson of Slayden; her parents, James Earl and Costella Cox Bryson of Slayden; two sisters, Jameia Franklin of Holly Springs, Clarice Moore of Slayden; and a brother, Rico Bryson of Jackson, Tenn.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Aqua Ladell Bryson.
