Hazel Jean Brown Mason Bowen

Hazel Jean Brown Mason Bowen, 91, of Holly Springs, died Jan. 16, 2020, at Methodist Hospital in Olive Branch. She was a member of Anderson Chapel CME Church where she served on the usher board, was a missionary and member of Federated Club. She was a domestic worker in private homes.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Jan. 18 at Anderson Chapel CME Church. Rev. William S. Banks officiated. Burial was at Hill Crest Cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves a daughter, Constance A. Mason of Holly Springs; two grandchildren and nine-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Carl Mason and Emmon Brown; one son, Curtis Allen Mason; and two sisters, Wilma Brown and Maggie O'Neal.
