Havisteen Lester Walker, 78, of Potts Camp, died March 5, 2018, at North Delta Hospice House in Southaven. The widow of R.L. Walker, she was a retired seamstress at a shirt factory in Hickory Flat. She was a member of the church choir and kitchen committee.
Services were held at 1 p.m. on March 11 at Baptist Hill MB Church in Potts Camp, where she was a member. Burial was in the church cemetery. Rev. Lacy Scott officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements..
She leaves three children, Mack Walker of Memphis, Tenn., Derrick Lynn Walker, Deirdra Lenore Walker, both of Potts Camp; and three sisters, Bobbie Ross of Memphis, Marion Jones of Brookfield, Wisc., and Betty Hill of Holly Springs.
