Hattie Mae Mallory

Hattie Mae Mallory, 86, of New Albany, formerly of Holly Springs, died June 24, 2024, at her home in New Albany. She was a member of Free Branch MB Church and was a homemaker.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on July 6 at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel. Minister Ed Michael Payne officiated. Burial was in Free Branch MB Church Cemetery in Holly Springs.

She leaves her daughters, Mushida Talley of Holly Springs, Beatrice Payne (Press) of Aurora, Ill., Priscilla Ann Wiseman of Memphis, Tenn.; brother, Acalee Pegues of Chicago, Ill.; sister, Willie Mae Pegues (Ed) of Waterford; nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Charles Ivory Pegues, Andy Michael Pegues; two grandchildren, Amanda Talley and Cassell Wiseman Jr.
