Gullie Rea Talley Harris

Gullie Rea Talley Harris, 74, of Waterford, died Oct. 24, 2019. The widow of Larry Bill Harris Sr., she was a member of Mt. Comfort CME Church. She worked at Wurlitzer and Emerson.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 2, at Mt. Comfort CME Church. Rev. Kenneth Rogers officiated. Bishop Earnest Johnson gave the eulogy. Burial was in the church cemetery. SerenityAutry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves a daughter, Mary (Kinney) Malone of Holly Springs; five sons, Michael (Geraldine) Talley, Rickey (Delois) Harris Sr. and Larry Harris Jr., all of Waterford, Carl (Danelle) Harris of Cordova, Tenn., Earnest (Lucille) Harris of Holly Springs; one sister, Luevenna (Roy) Howell of Waterford; two brothers, Ezekiel Talley Jr. of Ashland, Leslie (Kathy) Talley of Grand Rapids, Mich.; two goddaughters, Jo'Anne Cochran of Wood Ridge, Ill., Thelma Mays of Oxford; one godson, Jerry Williams of Waterford; 16 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five siblings, Richard, Charlie, Gilbert, Lawrence, and Wilbert; and a special friend, Chester Lee Morning Jr.
