Gollie Jeffries Jr.

Gollie Jeffries Jr., 85, of Holly Springs, died Jan. 24, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-New Albany. He was a member of Calvin Chapel CME Church in Holly Springs.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Jan. 30 at Cottrell Memorial Garden. Rev. Patrick L. Johnson officiated. SerenityAutry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves five sons, Dennis Jeffries (Lorene) of Red Banks, Herbert Jeffries of Abbeville, Joseph Jeffries, William Jeffries (Katina), both of Holly Springs, James Jeffries of Aurora, Ill.; five daughters, Catherine Waller of Memphis, Tenn., Bessie Johnson (Lander) of Chicago, Ill., Gene Jeffries of Holly Springs, Ocie Jeffries-Bell (George) of Holly Springs, Ardella Jeffries of Southaven; 32 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.

He was preceeded in death by his wife, Pearlie Bea Jones Jeffries; two children, Emma Mae Jeffries and Joyce Ann Jeffries-Bell.
