Golia Pitts Richmond

Golia Pitts Richmond, 85, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Waterford, died August 20, 2019, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis. She was a member of Spring Hill MB Church in Waterford. She was a retired nurse assistant with Wade Registry.

Services were held at 1 p.m. on August 25 at Spring Hill MB Church. Apostle Mae L. Palmer officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves a daughter, Patricia Bowling of Collierville, Tenn.; five sisters, Alice Starks and Hattie Pitts, both of Memphis, Joeann Alexander of Perris, Calif., Jeanette Edwards of Chicago, Ill., Johnnie Pitts of Holly Springs; two brothers, Henry Pitts of Memphis, Paul Pitts of Waterford; and one grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a son, Glenn Richmond; two sisters, Maggie Rice and Joyce Pitts; five brothers, Herman Pitts, Columbus Pitts, McNeil Pitts, Robert Pitts and Russell Pitts.
