Gladys Jewel Vanzant

Gladys Jewel Vanzant, 76, of Hickory Flat, died Sept. 3, 2019, at Ashland Health and Rehab. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on Sept. 6 at Faith Baptist Church. Burial was in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She leaves her husband, John Vanzant; two sons, Michael King of New Albany, John "J.B." Vanzant of Hickory Flat; four daughters, Donna Franklin (Rickey) of Senatobia, Wendy Jones of Ashland, Bridgett Smith (Morris) of Cascilla, Paula Vanzant of Olive Branch; sister, Jestel Wilson of Ashland; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, William Edward King.
