Georgia Ann Wicks Lee

Georgia Ann Wicks Lee, 95, of Holly Springs, formerly of Leavenworth, Kansas, died Feb. 2, 2020, at Life Point Village Assisted Living in Southaven. The widow of John E. Lee, she was a member of Bethel AME Church in Leavenworth where she served as a church stewardess, missionary and lay member. She was a nurse's aide at Sisters of Catholic Charity in Leavenworth.

Services were held at 10 a.m. on Feb. 12 at Hopewell No. 1 MB Church in Holly Springs. Pastor Tony Majors officiated. Burial was in Cottrell Memorial Garden. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves two children, Manya Falkner of Holly Springs and Bonnie Lee Falkner of Mesa, Ariz.; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two children, Gloria Jean Falkner and James Thomas Falkner; brothers, Page Wicks, Eval Wicks, Thomas Wicks, Bonnie Wicks; sister, Witteria McKinney, Oseola Fant, and Etta Ingram.
