George Rather Jr., 71, of Fairfield Bay, Ark., died Nov. 30, 2018, in Fairfield. He was a bond trader and a Catholic.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Dec. 6, in Hill Crest Cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his wife, Jean Phillips Rather; one son, Phillip Rather (Brandi) of Austin, Texas; and two grandchildren.
He was preceeded in death by one son, Stephen Rather.
