George Morgan Jr., 89, of Jackson, Tenn., died June 29, 2026, at his home. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, a Baptist and a butcher for many years.
Services were held at Holly Springs Funeral Home on July 3 at 12 p.m. Graveside services were held in Slayden Cemetery.
He leaves his sons, Eddie Morgan (Janet) of Jackson, Duane Morgan of Holly Springs; daughter, Linda Johnson (Gary) of Holly Springs; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Louise Thompson Morgan and grandchild, Stephanie Freels.
