George Frank Mullins

George Frank Mullins, 61, of Ashland, died Dec. 21, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. He was a former factory worker at Hillcraft Furniture in New Albany.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 28, at Royston Chapel CME Church in Ashland. Pastor Gwendolyn Nelson officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Christean Williams Mullins of Memphis; a daughter, Christy Mullins of Memphis; a stepson, Cudero Washington of Memphis; six sisters, Josephine Boga of Memphis, Maxine Perkins, Diane Anderson, Paul Ruth Corner, Ellen Elliott, all of Ashland, Gloria J. Cornelious of Holly Springs; one brother, James Edward Mullins of Ashland; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Frank Mullins and Roberta Delbridge Mullins; a sister, Hattie Mae Mullins; two brothers, Sammie Lee Mullins and James Carruthers.
