George Edward Anderson

George Edward Anderson, 65, of Holly Springs, died Sept. 13, 2018, at his home. He was an Army veteran and on the Usher Board. He was employed at Carrier Inc.

Visitation will be Sept. 21, from 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home, and at the church on Sept. 22 from 9-9:55 a.m.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Sept. 22 at Anderson Chapel CME Church, where he was a member. Burial will be Sept. 24, 1:15 p.m., in the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Memphis, Tenn. Rev. William S. Banks will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Purvene Love Anderson; a son, George Durrell Jeffries of Holly Springs; a brother, Timothy Anderson of Chicago, Ill.; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Terrance Anderson.
