Gene Autry Ambrose, 66, of Holly Springs, died April 5, 2017, at Holly Springs Health and Rehab. The widower of Gwendolyn Ambrose, he was a former member of Hudsonville CME Church. He was a disabled factory worker for Sun Chemical in Chicago, Ill.
Services were held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. on April 11. Burial was in Cottrell Memorial Garden.
He leaves his caregiver/niece, Patricia McAuley of Holly Springs; and three brothers, Fred Lewis Ambrose, Eddie B. Ambrose, both of Holly Springs and James Henry Ambrose of Millington, Tenn.
