Gary Dwayne "Bit" Stanton, 68, of Potts Camp, died February 12, 2022, at Alliance HealthCare System in Holly Springs. He was a truck driver.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Feb. 16 at Potts Camp Baptist Church. Bro. Randy Hamilton officiated. Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his wife of 32 years, Leslie Whaley Stanton; son, Gary Stanton (Kalee) of New Albany; daughter, Chelsea Anderson (Dexter) of Potts Camp; two brothers, Jacky Stanton (Louise) of Hickory Flat, Jimmy Stanton (Bonnie) of Bethlehem; a sister, Pam Stanton Anderson of Bethlehem; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Faye Stanton.
