Gabriel Ivie Owens

Gabriel Ivie Owens, 69, of Holly Springs, died October 12, 2021, at Holly Springs Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. He was a member of Foundation of Life MB Church in Lamar and a self-employed concrete finisher.

Graveside services will be held at 12 noon on Oct. 21 at Cottrell Memorial Garden in Holly Springs. Brother Bradley Patterson will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves three daughters, Lavesha Owens of Franklin, Tenn., Arshula Lynn, Grace Owens, both of Fort Worth, Tex.; one son, Derrick Owens of Holly Springs; one sister, Annie Jean Hardaway of Victoria; four brothers, Daniel Owens of Ashland, Ezekiel Owens of Chulahoma, Noah Owens of Collierville, Tenn., Jobe Owens of Victoria; and 12 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Gabriel Owens Jr.
