Fredrick Pegues

Fredrick Pegues, 61, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Holly Springs, died June 3, 2023. He was a member of St. Luke Church of God in Christ in Olive Branch.

Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel on June 9 from 3-7 p.m. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on June 10 at St. Luke Church of God in Christ. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden.

He leaves a son, Deroderick Pegues of Holly Springs; four daughters, Latisha Joiner, April Pegues, Lamiracle Pegues, all of Southaven, Natoshia Pegues of Memphis; two brothers, Lloyd Pegues (Catherine) of Aurora, Ill., Kenneth Pegues (Mollie) of Holly Springs; one sister, Cassandra Ellis (Ervin) of Memphis; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo Lawrence Pegues; parents, J.C. and Riella Pegues; a brother, Sylvester Pegues; and sister, Cajewel Pegues.
