Frederick Jay Hamer

Frederick Jay Hamer, 44, of Holly Springs, died June 3, 2022, in Waterford. He attended Word of Life Ministry in Memphis, Tenn. And was a supervisor at American Furntiure in Pontotoc.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on June 11 at Chulahoma MB Church. Minister Josephine Cunningham will officiate. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden. J.F. Britttenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Sherita D. Thomas Hamer; daughter, Japrayla Hamer of Ripley; sons, Fredricous Hamer of Ripley, Zykeldrick Hamer, Frederick Hamer Jr., Zechariah Hamer, all of Holly Springs; mother, Mary Alice Hamer; father, Cater Hamer Sr., both of Ashland; grandmother, Elcylean Hamer of Ashland; sisters, Penny Hamer, Natalie Hamer, both of Michigan City, Lakeshia Hamer Stewart of Ashland, Denise Hamer Hudson of Grand Junction, Tenn., Cindy Hamer Sain of Whiteville, Tenn.; brothers, Cater Hamer Jr. of Grand Junction and Jeffrey Hamer of Michigan City.
