Freddie Holland Jeffries
Freddie Holland Jeffries, 86, of Holly Springs, died March 15, 2025, at her home. She was a member of Grays Chapel CME Church where she served on the stewardess board. She taught at H.W. Byers High School for over 34 years and was a member of the Retired Teacher's Association of Marshall County. She was also retired from Rust College as a librarian.
Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on March 21 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and on March 22 at Anderson Chapel CME Church from 1:30-2:25 p.m. with services at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Frank Taylor will officiate. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden.
She leaves a son, Rodney A. Jeffries of Holly Springs; sister, Joyce Holland of Holly Springs; brother, Jesse Holland of Holly Springs; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jake" Jeffries; son, James "Buggs" Jeffries Jr.; siblings, Bernice Jackson and Robert Holland.
