Fred Lamar Brown

Fred Lamar Brown, 91, departed this life on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born March 7, 1931 to Twiford and Coretta Hall. He was an owner and operator of Southern Meat Market. After retiring from from his business, he worked in HVAC for several years. Mr. Fred was a hard-working man, who loved to stay busy fixing things. He enjoyed gardening, yard work, and watching wrestling. He was a very loved man and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Services will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022, at 12:00 noon at United Funeral Home with Bro. James Archambeault “Arch” officiating. A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service, also at United. United is honored to be entrusted with these arrangements.

He is survived by three daughters; Pam May, Tammy Schindler, and Candice Gentry; two sisters, Cherry Dale Farrara, and Patricia Holden; one brother, Billy Don Brown; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one great-greatgrandchild on the way.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Daphine Clark Brown; two sisters, Hazel Childers and Mary Elln Johnson; two brothers, Houston Brown and Herbert Brown; and one grandchild, Ross Schindler.
