Fred Douglas Cunningham Sr.

Fred Douglas Cunningham Sr., 76, of Holly Springs, died May 10, 2025, at Methodist Germantown Hospital in Germantown, Tenn. He was a former member of New Hope CME Church and a construction worker.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on May 18 from 2:30-5:30 p.m. and on May 19 at Pleasant Grove MB Church from 11-11:55 a.m. with services at 12 noon. Rev. Dwight Jones will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He leaves his daughters, Marquetta Cunningham of Holly Springs, Amelia Cunningham of Slayden; sisters, Dorothy Robinson of Memphis, Tenn., Cheryl Gillespie of Holly Springs; brother, Rev. Dwight Jones of Senatobia; fiancé, Janie S. Campbell of Holly Springs; five grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

He as preceded in death by his siblings, Mildred Smith, Naomi Payne, and Judge Ernest Cunningham.
