Frankie Mae Batts Turner, 75, of Michigan City, died December 15, 2025.
Services were held at Union Hill MB Church in Ashland on Dec. 27 at 12 p.m. Pastor Randall Woodard and Minister Martha Woodard officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. Serenity Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She leaves her sisters, Ethelene Batts of Memphis, Tenn., Cassie Louise Batts of Chicago, Ill., and Evonne Batts Murden (Wayne) of Michigan City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Turner; brothers, Jim Batts Jr., William Logan Batts; sisters, Lizzie Matilda Walker, Gracie Mae Coley, Mollie Dukes, Pollie Morgan, Levonne McKnight, and Vanessa Beatrice Gray.
