Frank Feathers

Robert Franklin Feathers, 84, of Mt. Pleasant, died Feb. 10, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville in Collierville, Tenn. He was the pastor of Holly Hills Baptist Church for 29 years and also at Friendship Baptist Church in Holly Springs, and McElroy Baptist Church in Wynne, Ark. He was a plumber.

Services were held at 2 p.m. on Feb. 21 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Hill Crest Cemetery.

He leaves four children, Charles Feathers (Dolly) of Slayden, Nancy Allen and Kenneth Feathers, both of Mt. Pleasant, Lydia Mitchell (Billy) of Waterford; sisters, Margaret Holmes of Tupelo, Bessie Shoffner of Hamilton, Ala., Donnie Drewery of Holly Springs; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceeded in death by his wife of 64 years, Peggy Ann Thompson; siblings, Mary Owens, John Edward Feathers, Pauline McCallum, Gussie Sowell, Clyde Feathers, Oscar Feathers, Brodie Feathers; and one grandson, Clint Brooks.
