Frances Mae Smith Johnson

Frances Mae Smith Johnson, 88, of Byhalia, formerly of New York, NY, died February 16, 2023, at her home. She was a member of Antioch MB Church in Victoria where she served on the Pastor's Aide Committee, Prayer Warriors and member of the Order of Eastern Star. She was with housekeeping at Francis Shervier Home and Hospital in New York.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Feb. 24 from 3-5:30 p.m. and at Antioch MB Church on Feb. 25 from 9-9:55 a.m. with services at 10 a.m. Pastor Roger Daniels will officiate. Burial will be in McCraven Cemetery in Victoria.

She leaves a daughter, Sharon A. Johnson-Rayford of Byhalia; son, Kenneth Johnson of Byhalia; five grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Johnson; daughters, Cynthia Johnson and Donna V. Johnson.
