Floyd Allen Edwards

Floyd Allen Edwards, 81, of Potts Camp, died May 28, 2020, at Mississippi State Veterans Home in Oxford. He was a member of Potts Camp Methodist Church, an automotive salesman and a U.S. Army veteran. He enjoyed car racing, and deer and turkey hunting.

Services were held at 1 p.m. on June 6 at Bethlehem Methodist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Elinor Edwards of Potts Camp; three daughters, Cathy Edwards of Robinsonville, Michelle Whaley (Brett) of Potts Camp, Claire Harper (Randy) of Potts Camp; grandchildren, Neil Whaley (Leslee), Jessica Ash, Justin Ash, Jordan Ash (Jessica) and Makenzee Crocker (Austin); great-grandchildren, Saxon Ballard, Eli Ash, Mary Neilee Whaley, Cohen Ash; several neices, nephews, great-neices, great-nephews, great-great-neices, and great-great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Gavie Edwards; brothers, Talmadge Edwards, Derward Edwards, and Marion Edwards.
