Florida B. Martin Isom

Florida B. Martin Isom, 69, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Cayce, died Aug. 8, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. She was a member of Mt. Zion Taska MB Church in Cayce where she served on the mothers' board. She was a homemaker.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Aug. 14 from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Aug. 15 at Mt. Zion Taska MB Church Cemetery. Pastor Keith Pendilton will officiate.

She leaves her husband, Alfonzia Isom Sr.; daughter, Yolanda Martin of Memphis; son, Alfonzia Isom Jr. of Memphis; six sisters, Mary Gatewood, Ida Morrison, both of Cayce, Clara Hardaway, Lucy Odom, both of Byhalia, Elnora Coleman of Horn Lake, Bonnie Martin of Memphis; three brothers, George Martin, Clarence Martin, both of Cayce, Willie Odom of Memphis; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by siblings Marie Walls, Odessa Johnson, Lawrence Martin Jr. and Arthur Lee Martin.
