Felix Jacob Thigpen

Felix Jacob Thigpen, 75, of Byhalia, formerly of Holly Springs, died April 22, 2025, at Great Oaks Rehab and Health Care. He was a member of Pleasant Grove MB Church and a brick mason.

Services were held at 2 p.m. on April 27 at Pleasant Grove MB Church. Rev. Alberoderick Neely officiated. Burial was in Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his daughters, Queneta Thigpen, Denise Thigpen, both of Olive Branch, Zenetra Thigpen-Love of Hampton, Va.; son, Martez Balfour of Corinth; sisters, Mary Lue Munn of Memphis, Tenn., Kathleen Richmond, Gracie Jeffries, Maudie Freeman, all of Holly Springs; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henderson and Mamie Wells Thigpen; and brother, Nathaniel Jones.
